Beetleball Shop

Eggs, Bucks, and hats you earn by playing — plus the launch shop code and optional supporter pack.

Cosmetics Shop Hub

The Beetleball shop is a cosmetic board, not a class paywall. You earn XP and Beetle Bucks by playing, spend Bucks on Beetle Eggs, and crack those eggs for hats, wing trails, emotes, stickers, skins, and goal effects. Bugfight’s 3 September 2026 launch notes still describe that loop as free: the shop is in the game, the cosmetics come from play. This hub is the English map of that loop. Binds, colourblind, and voice are on settings. The only typeable promo is on codes. Steam overlay trophies are a different system: 39 achievements, ten confirmed store-highlight names, not eggs — Steam achievements.

Next Fest (23 February 2026) is when eggs, levels, Bucks, and the main-menu shop landed in the demo. Early Access kept the spine and added hat slots, profile pictures, quests, level-up rewards, and more cosmetics. If you skipped the demo, you are not behind a second currency — you are behind some hat jokes.

Beetle Eggs and the rarity ladder

Eggs are lootboxes. The shop can display drop chances. Rarities, from the Next Fest patch list:

  • Common
  • Uncommon
  • Rare
  • Legendary
  • Mythical

Mythical is where the iridescent class skins live. Next Fest added two mythical iridescent skins for each beetle. A Mythical hat does not change Tiger’s teleport. A Common sticker does not make Goliath’s parry worse. Open eggs when you want a roll; there is no documented “pity” number on this wiki, so we will not invent one.

The launch shop code ILOVEBEETLEBALL dumped 10 eggs into this same inventory for 48 hours after 3 September 2026 (through 5 September). Type it in the shop, not on Steam’s website. If the field rejects it, the window closed. No other confirmed strings. Steps and warnings: codes.

Beetle Bucks, XP, quests, and levels

Bucks are the earn-by-playing currency. Unranked, ranked, and custom all feed the meter. Demo notes added a 1.5x currency increase in Ranked to offset queue times; treat that as the last published multiplier unless a later patch says otherwise. XP raises your profile level. Launch added quests and level-up rewards, so a short session can still pay something besides a single match payout.

Unlockable classes sit next to this loop. Early Access does not hand every beetle to a new account. Difficulty stars still mark beginner-friendly beetles (Ladybug, Click, Firefly, Goliath are the usual four). Work through getting started and the beetle roster before you dump Bucks on eggs you will never see on a beetle you hate.

Profile pictures unlocked at launch. They are cosmetics on your identity, not a ranked badge with stats. Leaderboard LTM crowns from demo events were a different track: a numbered crown cosmetic that incremented when you won a leaderboard challenge. PvP Fest bandanas and boxing gloves were placement rewards, not shop SKUs.

Hats, hat slots, and everything else that drops

Hats. Next Fest started with 27+ mustaches (Bugfight apologised in the patch notes). A later demo update added around 80 hats that were explicitly not more mustaches, plus a rainbow mustache in the facial-hair pile. Launch added hat slots, so a beetle can actually wear what you rolled. Customise in the menus; Next Fest also let you customise during a match.

Wing trails. Twenty-three new trails in Next Fest, more later (including a Rainbow Lightning trail in a demo cosmetics drop). Trails preview in customisation when selected.

Emotes and stickers. Next Fest added new emotes, 10 stickers, and an emote/sticker wheel. Later demo notes added more emotes and an “Aura” sticker. Emotes play when selected in customisation.

Skins. Class paints for Bombardier, Cyborg, Dung, Firefly, Fungus, Goliath, Rhino, Tiger, plus doodle and crash-test dummy lines in later demo drops. Iridescent mythical skins are the flex roll.

Goal effects. Five new effects in Next Fest; some later gained unique sounds.

None of these change how to score. Gold still has to hit the red net. Overlay toasts such as YOINK or DODGE THIS also do not change Q; they live on Steam achievements, not in this egg inventory.

Supporter pack, without a made-up price

Steam lists The Beetle Billionaire’s Deluxe Golden Scarab Supporter Pack as Beetleball DLC, also sold in a Supporter Edition bundle with the base game. It exists. This wiki will not invent a dollar amount or a complete item list beyond the public name. If you want to support Bugfight with cosmetics, buy it on Steam. If you only want hats, play for Bucks and eggs. The pack is not ILOVEBEETLEBALL and it is not a stronger Atlas.

Base game introductory offer is $7.99 on Steam. That is the game price, not the pack price.

How to use the shop without wasting a week

  1. Redeem the launch code if the shop still accepts it.
  2. Pick a first beetle from beginner tier list or the green stars in class select.
  3. Play enough to feel movement before you obsess over a trail.
  4. Spend Bucks on eggs when you actually care about a hat on that beetle — hat slots mean the roll is visible.
  5. Keep settings readable: colourblind mode, outlines, and distance blur affect whether you even see the gold you dressed up.

Official store, Discord, and press kit: links. Patch context: launch notes. The shop will gain more SKUs during Early Access; this page describes the systems, not every individual mustache.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Beetleball players.

How do Beetle Eggs work?

Buy them with Beetle Bucks in the in-game shop (or redeem the launch code for a bundle). Each egg rolls a cosmetic: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, or Mythical. They do not unlock extra damage.

How do I earn Beetle Bucks?

Play matches. Ranked paid a 1.5x currency bump in demo notes to offset queues. Launch quests and level-up rewards add more. There is no confirmed Bucks shop code.

Does the shop sell stronger classes?

No. Classes unlock through play and quests. The shop sells eggs for cosmetics: hats, trails, emotes, stickers, skins, goal effects. See players for the roster.

What is the Deluxe Golden Scarab pack?

The Beetle Billionaire's Deluxe Golden Scarab Supporter Pack is official Steam DLC. This wiki will not invent its price or a fake contents list. It is separate from ILOVEBEETLEBALL.

Where do I type shop codes?

In the in-game shop. The only confirmed launch string is ILOVEBEETLEBALL for 10 eggs, 48 hours after 3 September 2026. Full steps: codes.

Are Steam achievements the same as Beetle Eggs?

No. Overlay trophies do not crack eggs or grant hats. Confirmed store-highlight names live on Steam achievements.
